WWT offers a wide variety of sizes and configurations, to
meet the needs of any application or process. Our state-of-the-art
regeneration plant ensures that each regenerated batch of
media yields maximum throughput performance. Furthermore,
all freshly regenerated media must pass a litany of quality
control tests, before it is certified for field use. This
rigorous process ensures that our valued customers will consistently
receive the highest quality exchange product - every time.
Unlike some of our competitors, we DO NOT engage in regenerating
resins exposed to wastewater or undesirable elements. Regardless
how remote the possibility of contamination may be, the potential
of mixing high purity resin with waste treatment media is
a recipe for disaster! When quality, responsiveness and integrity
matter most, let WWT design a portable exchange program that's
right for you.

Standard Product Sizes
X0618 Series
Includes a reinforced, poly-glass exchange vessel containing
0.25 cubic feet of media. It is specifically designed for
laboratory settings, where low flow and intermittent use are
prevalent. At flow rates up to .75 gpm, it can be used as
a stand-alone unit capable of providing very high purity water.
At flow rates of less than .75 gpm, it is designed to be installed
in a recirculating loop, capable of providing high quality
water at flow rates as low as 1 cc/hr. The X0618 can be used
to feed a still system for pyrogen-free water, or if fed with
RO product water and recirculated, it can yield 18 Megohm
quality.
X0948 Series
Includes a reinforced, poly-glass exchange vessel containing
1.6 cubic feet of media. It is particularly useful in providing
high purity water to single points of use over extended periods-of-time.
The X0948 allows for variations in flows, with little sacrifice
in capacity due to channeling. When plumbed in sets or trains,
the X0948 can provide large volumes of high purity water at
moderate flow rates.
X1252 Series
Includes a reinforced, poly-glass exchange vessel containing
slightly more than 3.0 cubic feet of media. Its high column
length-to-diameter ratio (4.2:1), makes this series extremely
efficient. In fact, the high ratio allows the X1252 to out
perform many larger units in total water production. Like
the X0948 Series, the X1252 can be easily configured in sets
or trains, but with much higher flow rate capabilities.
X1447 Series
Includes a reinforced, poly-glass exchange vessel containing
3.6 cubic feet of media. Its high flow rate and volume characteristics,
make it the most popular selection among moderate to large
users. Full 1" connections provide nearly 15 gpm of highly
purified water. When configured in trains, the X1447 can accommodate
virtually any application. Best of all, it is extremely cost
effective.
SuperCell Series
Is designed for large users of high purity water, looking
for the most economical means of operation, without the headaches
associated with operating their own DI plant. The SuperCell
is custom designed for each application, and offers a multitude
of vessel sizes and resin quantities. This series includes
portable vessels mounted to rigid skid frames, for easy transport
and handling. Simply tell us how you want your system to operate,
and we'll develop the right SuperCell configuration for you!

Standard Configurations
Activated Carbon units are a common addition to many high
purity DI applications. Its enormous adsorption capabilities
are well suited for removing organics and chlorine. As part
of our commitment to quality assurance, we use only new, virgin
carbon for each exchange.
Mixed-Bed systems consist of single vessels containing both
cation and strong base anion resins. Mixed-Beds produce the
highest purity water, which typically ranges from 200,000
up to 18,000,000 ohms/cm3. Most often, the Mixed-Bed units
are placed down-stream of a primary treatment apparatus (dual-bed
DI, RO system, etc.), to act as a polishing mechanism.
Dual-Bed strong base systems produce an average water quality
of 150,000 ohms/cm3 with a pH over 7. The dual-bed units remove
silica and carbon dioxide from the water and are excellent
all-purpose systems. The versatility and high quality effluent
make the dual-bed configuration ideal for microelectronics,
boiler makeup and surface coating applications, to name a
few.
Water Quality Monitoring
Water Quality Monitoring WWT has made monitoring your water
quality quick and easy. Each of our units include a standard
set of highly accurate, water quality indicator lights.
The procedure is quite simple: If the indicator light is illuminated,
the water quality is within the specs you require. If the
indicator light is not illuminated, it's time call WWT for
an exchange.
Monitoring lights are available in a variety of quality limits,
ranging from 20,000 ohms (24 ppm) up to one megohm (0.5 ppm).
They are powered by 115 VAC and 12 VDC, and can be configured
with or without remote/local alarms.
